Now after getting this machine up to that, I see that the 8.0.33 update of RDC from just last week requires 10.9, taking it out of reach and fitting in nicely with the rest of the story that I will not bore you with. I think you are out of luck, I don;t think you can download it from anywhere else.
Maybe also look into http://cord.sourceforge.net
Why don't you try downloading it on your computer and see if you can extract the file from the download? Right-click and show package content.
